Vestdavit secures largest sales contract yet with Damen for a State-of-the-Art davit systems
Vestdavit has marked a significant company milestone with the signing of it's biggest sales contract yet, delivering cutting edge davit systems to leading global shipbuilder Damen Naval. This landmark agreement covers delivery of four confirmed vessel sets.
The Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate (ASWF) is a project of the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN, Dutch: Koninklijke Marine) and Belgian Navy to replace the existing Multipurpose- or M-frigates.
This collaborative naval program will see the construction of four next-generation frigates two for each nation designed to enhance anti-submarine warfare capabilities in the region. The Netherlands is leading the project, with Damen Naval serving as the main shipbuilder.
The role given to Vestdavit to provide a state-of-the-art davit system demands that these vessels will be equipped with robust, reliable, and safe boat-handling davits, reinforcing the operational readiness and versatility of these future naval assets.

Each vessel in the program will be outfitted with advanced dual davit systems and accompanying equipment on both sides of the ship.
